Something went wrong

Email info@crindustries.xyz and say what happened and which device you were using. If the game closed unexpectedly, sending the crash report from Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics on your device is enormously more useful than a description.

I paid to remove adverts and they came back

Open Settings → Restore Purchases inside the game. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so this works on any device you are signed in on. If it does not, email us with the Apple Account email you bought it with.

I still see adverts after paying

Buying removes every advert in the game — the one after a finished match, and the optional watch to unlock advert on the Squad screen. Nothing is ever shown during a match either way.

If you have only just bought it and a watch to unlock button is still there, close the game and open it again. The purchase takes full effect from the next launch. If adverts are still appearing after that, use Restore Purchases above.

I can't find anyone to play online

Usually because there is nobody to find. Cratergut is new and the number of people looking at any given moment is small, so a search can genuinely come back empty. That is not a fault in the game, and we would rather say so than let you go looking for one.

Two things are worth checking anyway. Online play needs Game Center, so make sure you are signed in under iOS Settings → Game Center. And the game only matches players whose builds agree about the rules, so a release that changes them would keep an updated device and an un-updated one apart — that has not happened yet, and every version published so far can play every other.

Rather than leave you waiting, the lobby offers you the Brutal opponent as soon as a search stops, with a Look again button beside it wherever searching again would help. That match is played on the same island, with the same two squads of four and the same rules an online game uses — but it is one match, not a best of three, and the lobby says so on the button.

Reporting an advert

If you are shown something inappropriate, take a screenshot of the advert while it is on screen, then open Settings → Report an ad in the game and email it to us. Tell us roughly when it happened. Every advert in Cratergut comes from Google, and telling us is what lets us block that advertiser for everyone playing.
